t’s a pleasure to introduce myself as I take on the role of Director - Finance at Toonz Animation India Pvt Ltd.

Before joining Toonz, I had the privilege of working with Shell, where I gained significant experience in managing finance within a highly structured, global organization. My career journey began at KPMG, where I built a strong foundation in audit and financial advisory.

Transitioning from environments where systems and processes are highly optimized , to an industry that thrives on people, creativity, and collaboration has been both inspiring and challenging. Moreover, moving from a production- and manufacturing-centric sector in Oil and Gas to a creative services industry has introduced me to a new set of opportunities and challenges , each of which I find deeply enriching.

Right from my first day at Toonz, I’ve had the opportunity to engage in complex and meaningful work, including strategic financial planning and presentations to the Board of Directors. These early experiences have reaffirmed my excitement about joining this organization, and I look forward to contributing to its continued growth and success.

In my first three days at Toonz, I have felt a genuine eagerness to learn as this domain is not just interesting but also challenging. While “Animation” is new to me and I am still getting my head around the many moving parts, the team’s patience in explaining everything in layman’s terms has made it feel approachable, especially from Noble. The regular huddles are helping me gradually understand the bigger picture, and though I have a lot more to pick up, I am seeing the potential for me to grow here and definitely contribute to the overall success of the project. From onboarding to now, I have consistently felt encouraged to keep learning! 

 It’s been around one week at Toonz, and so far, it’s been a really good experience. The team is super friendly and helpful, making it easy to get comfortable and start learning. I’m getting used to the workflow and the creative vibe of the studio, and I’m excited to grow and be part of some awesome projects ahead!

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience as a new member of the team. Starting at Toonz Animation has been an exciting journey, and I’ve already learned so much in a short time.

From day one, the onboarding process was smooth and well-organized. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming and supportive, which made the transition into the new work environment much easier than I anticipated.

Though I’m still learning the ropes, I already feel like I’m part of the team and am looking forward to contributing meaningfully to our projects. The collaborative culture and open communication here are really motivating, and I’m excited to grow professionally in such a positive environment.
