Christmas Celebrations at Toonz: A Festive Day Filled with Joy and Togetherness

“Deck the halls with bowls of holly” truly came alive at Toonz. It is always a pleasure to witness Toonz celebrations, because we celebrate with all our heart. The office was beautifully decorated with balloons, a Christmas tree decked out in ornaments, and on the day of celebration, the entire Toonz family turned up dressed in festive Christmas colours—an absolute eye-candy moment.

CEO Viswanath Rao delivered a heartfelt Christmas message, appreciating the creativity and enthusiasm that make Toonz celebrations so special. He expressed how beautifully the festive spirit was brought alive through the collective efforts of the team. Karthik Kumar, Director – Finance, shared his happiness at seeing how Toonz celebrates every occasion wholeheartedly, reinforcing the strong sense of togetherness across the organization.

Santa received a grand welcome, and the cake was cut by one of Toonz’s oldest employees, Ashok Kumar B. Everyone eagerly enjoyed a delicious bite of plum cake right after. The celebrations continued with soulful carols led by Philip Tony and team, followed by fun and peppy dance numbers that lifted the festive energy.

Several team members shared cherished Christmas memories from their childhood, taking everyone down a nostalgic lane. Competitions added to the excitement, including Best Bay Decoration and Best Team Photo. The 3D Production and YouTube teams shared first place for Best Bay Decoration, with Toonz Academy securing second place. The 3D Animation team won the third prize. For Best Team Photo, Toonz Academy bagged first place, followed by 3D Production in second and the Finance & Accounts team in third.

Lavanya and Rajalakshmi set the stage on fire with their performance, followed by energetic dances by Akhila, Veena, Babitha, and Nirmala. A delightful surprise came in the form of a beautiful group performance by Devapriya, Akhil, Alan, Aparna, Gopi, and Gowri. A fun round of “In the Pond, On the Bank” kept everyone engaged, with Devapriya emerging as the winner after tough competition from Ajesh of the 2D Production team.

The celebrations concluded with the exchange of gifts with Christmas friends. It truly was one of the best days at Toonz, filled with joy, laughter, creativity, and the warmth of togetherness.

Toonz Media Group at ATF Singapore: Strengthening Presence and Exploring New Opportunities

A four-member Toonz delegation, led by CEO Viswanath Rao, attended the Asia Television Forum & Market (ATF), Singapore, where the team engaged in several fruitful discussions and strategic meetings. The delegation included Gulshan David, Vice President – Feature Films; Anish Narayanakutty, Director – Content Distribution & Digital Media Platforms; and Rejy Jose, Senior Manager – Business Development.

The event witnessed strong interest in Asian content, reflecting its growing demand and relevance in the global market. One of the highlights for Toonz was the special session on our new venture with Robot Playground Media, A Banquet for Hungry Ghosts, which received encouraging attention from industry stakeholders.

Throughout the market, the team held multiple meetings with industry leaders and experts, exploring collaboration opportunities and future partnerships. Each market reinforces a promise, to reconnect, collaborate, and grow stronger at the next one. Toonz Animation at State-Level AVGC-XR Orientation Workshop under Vijnana Keralam

Toonz Animation participated in the State-level orientation inaugural workshop on AVGC-XR as part of the Vijnana Keralam – Campus Skilling Programme, conducted by K-DISC at Government Women’s College, Thiruvananthapuram, on 19th December.

The session was led by Vinod A.S., Vice President – Training & Academics, Toonz Animation, who shared valuable insights into the evolving AVGC-XR ecosystem, industry expectations, and the importance of skill-based learning aligned with global standards. His presentation highlighted emerging opportunities in animation, visual effects, gaming, and extended reality, emphasizing the role of academia–industry collaboration in building future-ready talent.

The workshop proved to be highly beneficial for the participants, which included student representatives, career guidance experts, and principals from various colleges across Kerala. The interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions helped strengthen awareness of career pathways and skilling opportunities within the AVGC-XR sector, reinforcing Toonz Animation’s commitment to nurturing talent and supporting skill development initiatives in the state.
